Final work on equipping playgrounds with additional equipment

Work is underway to equip playgrounds in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski with designed to facilitate accessibility for individuals with disabilities. In June 2022, discussions were conducted in collaboration with local neighborhood councils to identify the playgrounds that would receive disability-accessible equipment. Following these consultations, the decision was made to equip seven playgrounds with a total of 23 devices (arc swings, inclusive swings, inclusive carousels, inclusive sets, and outdoor fitness equipment. Subsequently, a public procurement procedure was initiated based on the prepared documentation This procurement encompasses the installation of disability-accessible equipment in seven playgrounds. 

These playground enhancements are being implemented at the following locations:

1.         Playground at Gutwin Recreation Center – 1 device (inclusive carousel);

2.         Playground at the Market Square in Denkowo - 2 devices (inclusive set, arc swing) + waste segregation bin;

3.         Playground on F. Chopina Street – 1 device (inclusive swing) + waste segregation bin,

4.         Playground in Fabryczny Park – 4 devices (inclusive set, carousel, arch swing, inclusive swing) + waste segregation bin and educational picnic table;

5.         Playground in the Marshal Józef Piłsudski City Park – 7 devices (inclusive set, carousel, two arch swings, integration swing, bicycle (fitness equipment), pull-down machine (fitness equipment) + waste segregation bin and educational picnic table;

6.         Playground in the Ogrody Estate on E. Dziewulskiego Street – 5 devices (inclusive set, carousel, arch swing, inclusive swing, pull-down machine (fitness equipment) + waste segregation bin and educational picnic table;

7.         Playground on S. Wyspiańskiego Street – 3 devices (inclusive set, carousel, inclusive swing) + waste segregation bin and educational picnic table.

As a result of the procurement procedure, Grupa Magic Garden Sp. z o.o., ul. Dworcowa 52/54, 88-100 Inowrocław, which submitted the most favorable offer, was selected as the Contractor. The contract with the Contractor was concluded on 26 May 2023. 

The total value of the aforementioned investment is PLN 881,340.51 gross.
