The call for proposals for the Participatory Budget of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski has officially ended, with the deadline falling on May 19, 2025. Residents submitted dozens of diverse projects, which are now undergoing formal and substantive verification. The submissions include a wide range of ideas, from infrastructure improvements to social and cultural initiatives. One of the most popular proposals is “Stawkowy FitPark and Dogoland” – a recreational space for people and pets. Other interesting ideas include the “GEN Z Music Festival” for youth and the educational campaign “Safe Contact with Dogs.” Notable submissions also include the creation of an “Intergenerational Dialogue Center” and the mural “Youth on the Wall.” Senior citizens were not forgotten, with proposals like “Aqua Aerobics” and “Senior Behind the Wheel” workshops. Residents also suggested new playgrounds, a dog park, a monument to steelworkers, and the installation of AED defibrillators. Officials will now carefully review the proposals and prepare a final list for public voting. The results of the verification process will be announced in the coming weeks.
