Voting in the 2025 Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski Participatory Budget Has Concluded

Voting for the 2025 Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski Participatory Budget has officially concluded, and residents have selected six winning projects for implementation. The chosen initiatives include the modernization of the sound system at the Municipal Stadium, free martial arts training sessions, an airplane mural in the Pułanki housing estate, hammocks and deckchairs in the City Park, a football tournament for children and youth, and the “Friendship Bench” at Primary School No. 4. Voter turnout was record-breaking, with a total of 9,736 residents taking part. The most popular project was the modernization of the stadium’s sound system, which received 8,847 points and secured funding of 488,000 PLN. “I’m very happy that we managed to win. I hope this upgrade will attract more visitors and sponsors to the stadium,” said project author Kamil Jurgas. Among the winners was also 14-year-old Julia Kaczmarska, who proposed installing hammocks and deckchairs in the park — her project received 2,663 votes. The results were announced during a press conference, and the details of each project’s implementation will now be finalized with city officials.
