We now know the new members of the Youth City Council of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.
On Thursday, 13 November, a meeting of the Election Commission of the Youth City Council of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski was held, during which the results of the elections for the new term of the Council were officially approved. Out of 40 candidates, 23 were elected.
The session of the commission — composed of Beata Duda, Head of the Department of Civil Affairs; Jan Bernard Malinowski, Head of the Department of Education and Social Affairs; and Magdalena Połetek from the Legal and Organizational Department of the City Hall — was chaired by Tomasz Gębka, Deputy Head of the Department of Planning and Development. The elections were conducted without objections, and young residents of Ostrowiec cast a total of 1,117 valid votes.
A total of 23 young people qualified for the Youth City Council — seven of them are primary school students. The new Council is as follows (listed in order of the number of votes received):
