Workshops of the Youth Councils of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and Sogndal

During the stay of the delegation from the Municipality of Sogndal, workshops were organized for youth from Norway and Poland. The theme of the workshops was inspired by the slogan 'I have an impact on my city.' Representatives of the Youth Councils of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and Sogndal, together with experienced trainer Mrs. Agnieszka Tercz, discussed whether one can influence what happens in the city they live in. They compared their experiences from the perspective of young residents of Sogndal and Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. A lot of attention was devoted to topics related to social participation in Norwegian and Polish cities. The youth tried to answer the question of how to encourage residents to participate in social life and convince them that by increasing their involvement, they can have a real impact on the development of the city they live in. The workshops became a place for exchanging experiences and best practices between Norwegian and Polish youth.
