New Strategy Sets the Direction for Ostrowiec’s Development

Intensive work is underway on the new Development Strategy of the Municipality of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski for 2027–2036, which will set the city’s key development priorities for the next decade. The document is being prepared with consideration for residents’ expectations, changing socio-economic conditions and alignment with regional and national strategic documents. As part of the process, meetings and workshops have been held with representatives of the City Office, City Council, Youth Council and municipal institutions and companies. The strategy focuses on six key areas: housing, the functionality and safety of the city, education, social integration, the economy and environmental protection. An important objective is to create good living conditions for all residents – from young people seeking opportunities for education, development and employment, to working-age residents and seniors. The draft strategy will be subject to broad public consultation and, according to the current plan, is to be adopted no later than the fourth quarter of 2026.
