Another Oxford-style debate of the Youth City Council Academy
Last week the fourth and final Oxford-style debate was held as part of the Youth City Council Academy project, which is part of the “Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski – miasta OdNowa” project co-financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism.
The event was attended by Deputy Mayor Artur Łakomiec on behalf of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski Mayor Jarosław Górczyński.
“Involving young people in discussions on the development of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski is an important initiative. One day we will hand over to the younger generation the decision-making process regarding the future of our city. Their voice is an important signal to us about proposals for changes friendly to the youth of Ostrowiec,” said the Deputy Mayor.
This time, young Ostrowians debated around the thesis “Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski – a good place to live and a reason to return.” Such a thesis caught the attention of an audience of more than 100 people gathered in the multifunctional hall of the Ostrowiec Culture Brewery.
