“Creative Student” Workshop

"Creative Student” was the motto of one of the workshops held periodically at Publiczna Szkoła Podstawowa nr 10 (in English: Public Primary School No. 10). The coordinators of the project “Akademia Współczesnego Juniora” (in English: Modern Junior Academy) at Public Primary School No. 10 are Ms. Nina Dukielska and Ms. Angelika Piwnik. They conduct classes with a selected group of students from grades 4th-8th. 

The goal of the overall project is:

– developing creativity and creative thinking,

– training in teamwork and effective communication,

– developing skills and abilities in the sciences and humanities,

– developing the ability to present own work and that of the whole team,

– improving teachers' competences in terms of innovations and creative methods

Creativity is not the domain of a select few, marked geniuses. Everyone has that element in them. Everyone has the potential to create new things. However, not many have the courage to think differently, which is why I am glad that such workshops to stimulate creativity are held in our city – says Mayor Jarosław Górczyński. 

The workshop are a perfect introduction to the development of creativity in Ostrowiec-based schools. It turned out that participation in the project “Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski – miasto OdNowa” (in English: “Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski – City ReNEWal") financed from the funds of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, implemented in partnership with the Leader – the Municipality of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski – the project “Modern Junior Academy” is not only a large dose of knowledge but also great fun.
