Surveys among residents

Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski wants to be a city of active, engaged residents, co-deciding on important issues for the self-government community and cooperating with the City Hall in the implementation of development activities. For this reason, work has begun on the creation of the “Methodology and standards for conducting the process of social consultation in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski”. The first stage is to diagnose the level of maturity of participatory processes in the city. To this end, we are conducting social surveys among residents. In order to find out the opinions of residents on the available forms of involvement and expectations towards the City Hall in this regard, 4 surveys were prepared for different groups of the population.

On the basis of social surveys among the residents of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, the “Methodology and standards for conducting the process of social consultation in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski” will be developed. In this way, the city will stimulate active and engaged residents who will co-decide on key issues for the self-government community. Such an informed community will also have the advantage of more involved cooperation with the City Hall.

"Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski - miasta OdNowa” (in English: “Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski – City ReNEWal”) benefits from a grant of EUR 2,974,766 received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA grants. The project aims to improve the lives of residents of all ages by achieving various changes in the city’s socio-economic development, and in the local sphere.
