The agreement with Sogndal is signed
On May 31, during the Conference on III phase of the "Local Development" Programme projects' implementation and bilateral cooperation organized by the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, President of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski Jarosław Górczyński and Arnstein Menes, President of Sogndal, signed a Partnership Agreement covering the scope of cooperation between the represented cities.
The Partnership Agreement is a part of a larger project implemented by Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and financed by the European Economic Area under the Local Development Program.
As emphasized by the President of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski – It was nice to learn during the conference that Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and Sogndal were the first cities to sign their partnership agreement. Together, we will implement innovative activities under the project: Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski – Miasta OdNowa (Eng. Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski – City ReNEWal). It is worth keeping fingers crossed for good cooperation, because the plans are ambitious, and the effect of cooperation will be noticeable to our residents.
The main assumptions of the cities' cooperation can be divided into the following three areas:
